The Creation:
Through trials and error, the Multi Purpose Court
located adjacent to the Scott’s Head Government School in Scott’s Head. Has been in and out of operation for quite
some time.
Due to multiple failures of past, Principles,
Team-mates, and Sports Organization. We decided to come together and form an organization and rebuild the Multi Purpose Court,
which is becoming a success.
During a visit to Dominica Mr. Max Blanc came
to the conclusion of bringing past members and Community Leaders to a stand still and work together to bring this facility
to greater level. With Mr. Troy Tavernier as a backbone, who introduced Mr. Kirt Martin and Mr. Marcel Nicholas and Mr. Al
Linez to form a coalition, and came together to have our first discussion. Then a meeting was called. The attendance of members
we overwhelming but not to the other Community Leaders, but that didn’t stop us from perusing out goals.
We then decided to write to Firms, Companies and
Government bodies. Who then gave us the idea of forming an Organization or a Sports Club. Then a meeting was called with the
invitation of Mr. Ian Pinard from the Lottery Commission of Dominica and One of our natives Mr.
Julius Brown from J.B Plumbing who then gave us anonymous support and solutions to put this Organization
on its foot.
A meeting was held with key members where we decided
to create a name for our Organization and a board of trustees, Sharks Sports Club was established.
With a successful vote, by members, Post and responsibilities were given to members of the board.
